Officially known as the Republic of Senegal, this country is a west African country located south of the Senegal River. Weather

Senegal has a tropical climate with hot and humid weather most of the time. December to April is the dry season where hot, dry and harmattan wind prevail. On the other hand, May to November is the rainy season dominated by strong southeast winds. Natural hazards are quite common in the lowlands.
