Weather

Zambia experiences three distinct seasons in the form of dry season (mid April to August), hot season (September to mid November) and wet season (mid November to mid April). Dry season is usually the coolest as the temperatures in this time of the year fluctuate between 24-28°C during the day and may drop to 7°C at night. Hot season experiences a steep rise of temperature that may go up to 42°C during the day. Wet season has temperature hovering around 32°C with lots of rain.

 

Transportation

Air: Lusaka International Airport (LUN) is the largest airport in Zambia. Flights are available from a number of African as well as European destinations.

Train: You can catch TAZARA trains from Dar es Salaam to reach Zambia. You can also use trains to reach several destinations within the country.

Bus: International buses are available to Zambia from Malawi, Zimbabwe and Tanzania. Buses are also available to travel different destinations within the country.
