Tongabezi Safari Lodge set amidst ebony trees is a tranquil sojourn beside river Zambezi. Founded by Will Ruck-Keena and Ben Parker in 1990 Zambia Tongabezi Safari Lodge is a privately owned luxury resort. Comprising of five exclusive cottages and four thatched houses, Tongabezi Safari Lodge in Zambia exudes a rustic charm typical of African jungle resorts. Both the cottages and huts are spacious and allow you to relax like a prince. With an unobstructed view of the river from all guest quarters you get the rare opportunity of viewing wildlife even from your cottage verandahs.

The Honeymoon House provides the perfect romantic ambiance overlooking the Zambezi River. An open-air private balcony allows you the indulgence of a candle light dinner beneath the star-studded sky. Dog House is an equally enchanting cottage with open-air sunken bathing facility and a spacious deck for private dinner .parties. The furniture is made of local materials and the bed is of king-size with down pillows. The Bird House also has similar features of the Dog House. In place of a deck you have an open terrace to arrange your evening parties.

The Tree House is truly a private retreat along a cliff face. This two tier retreat has a dining deck on the upper tier and sleeping facility in the lower. You could reach the Tree House along a separate stone path. The Nut House is amazing with stained light coming in from all walls. All these houses are spacious and fitted with king-size beds and huge mosquito nets. Excusive bathrooms with running hot and cold water, and private dining areas are characteristics of each of these rooms.

In addition to the luxury houses there are five River Cottages overlooking River Zambezi which provide comfortable accommodation. These cottages have gauze nettings in the windows which gives a sense of additional security in case you are of the less adventurous type.
