Things to Do

There are several things to see in Hampi. In fact, this town is a visual delight and everything you see here would make you amazed. The major tourist attractions of Hampi include Virupaksha Temple, Anegondi, Achyutaraya Temple, Archaeological Museum in Kamalapura, the Underground Temple, Uddana Veerabhadra Temple, Yentrodharaka Anjaneya Temple, Madhavan Palace, Virupapurg, Yeduru Basavanna, The King's Balance, Akka Tangi Gudda, Vittala Temple, Aqueducts and Canals etc. A “Dongi” ride in the Tungabhadra River would also be a memorable where you get an opportunity to see some beautiful rock forms.

As the ruins are scattered over a huge area, you may need to walk a lot. Though hiring a motorcycle / bicycle could be a good option.
