When to Visit China

Traveling to China
Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong are the airports handling international flights to and from China. These airports operate flights to all major destinations of the world. Reaching China by land is adventurous. There are regular bus services between Laos and China, Kyrgyzstan and China, Mongolia and China, Myanmar and China, Vietnam and China, Tajikistan and China, and Pakistan to China. Trans-Mongolian Railway connects Beijing to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. Trans-Siberian Railway operates trains between Moscow and Beijing.

China is also reachable by sea. Regular ferry services ply between Osaka or Kobe in Japan to Shanghai; from Incheon in South Korea to Qingdao, Dandong, Tianjin, Weihai and Dalian; and from Hong Kong Island to Mainland China.
