Coastlines
Coastlines are some of the most fabulous tourist destinations throughout the world. These coastal cities invariably have beaches and are noted for their exciting water activities and sea food restaurants. Many of these coastal cities also have a throbbing nightlife to keep you entertained up to the wee hours of the morning.
Though sea may be the common feature of all these cities, their differences lie in their spirit and their exuberance. Gold Coast in Australia is among the most visited coastline cities of the world. The Gold Coast extends for about 35 miles to the south of Brisbane in south east Australia. The California Coast bordering San Francisco Bay in western United Sates is thronged by visitors throughout the year. Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Santa Cruz are few of the notable coastal cities.
The Brazilian Coastline bordering the Atlantic to its east is fascinating with destinations like Rio de Janeiro, Recife and Salvador. Mediterranean coastal cities are alluring vacation destinations all through the year. Costa Blanca in south east Spain bordering the Mediterranean Sea is a similar such coastline. Alicante, San Juan, and Guardamar del Segura are attractive coastal cities of the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Italian Riviera or the Italian coastline near the French border is another marvelous coastline particularly the Riviera Dei Fiori from Ventimiglia to Cervo. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast in southern Wales from Porthcawl to West Aberthaw along Dunraven Bay is breathtaking.
The Konkan Coast of India bordering the Arabian Sea is amongst the most spectacular coastlines on earth. The city of Mumbai and the tempting beaches of Goa all are located along this coast in west India. The Sunrise Coast of Thailand extending from Cha Am to Chumphon along the Gulf of Thailand to its east is resplendent with national parks, beaches and lonely fishing villages.
