Corn Islands – an Introduction

Things to Do

Big Corn Island: With an area of 10 square km area, Big Corn Island is much bigger than the Little Corn Island. Visit North End and Sally Peaches for awesome beaches. The coral structures are surely going to enchant you. South End and Long Bay would provide you some of the most amazing views. You can also go for hiking at Bluff Point. For swimming you must go to South West Beach, which is known for calm sea and white beach. Waula Point should not be missed as well.
Little Corn Island: Located about 15 km northeast of Big Corn, Little Corn Island is having only 2.9 square km area. This island is too calm and hence a perfect place for those who are looking for a tropical getaway from noise and stress. This island is also known for swimming, diving and snorkeling activities.
Other Attractions: The other popular attractions in Corn Islands include Spanish Galleon, Taylor Acopio Gallery, Mt. Pleasant Tower, Bottle House, and Soul of the World etc. And while in Corn Islands, don't miss the opportunity to taste the famous coco bread.
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling: Corn Islands are the perfect destination for wonderful scuba diving and snorkeling experience.
