The Danube Bend is a thrilling vacation just outside the city limits of Budapest. Esztergom the farthest from Budapest is closely associated with the history of Hungary. The Basilica, Hungary’s largest church is an iconic landmark of this town. The altar piece painting of ‘Madonna’s ascension’ created by Grigoletto is the most outstanding feature of this Basilica. The choir is another striking attraction of this place. The Parkany Bridge with a narrow gauge railway line to Slovakia is another wonderful sight. Vizivaros water town is also a famous for its Kereszteny Museum, Town Hall, and Szent Tamas Hill.

Vizegrad is renowned for thermal pools and river front beaches. From Vizegrad you could cross over to Nygamaros another charming town. A stroll along the shoreline is very motivating. From the Julianus lookout on a 500 m hilltop have a fantastic view of the magnificent Danube Bend. Vac, with its historic Cathedral and Pointed Tower, is another illustrious town close to Vizegrad. Etyek is well known as a wine growing region.

Szentendre nearest to Budapest along Danube Bend is a panoramic town at the base of Pilis Hill. The Main Square with tiled houses, Greek-Orthodox Blagovestenska Church, and the House of Prisoner Raby are among the attractive structures of this .place.
