It is a sublime experience in all possible senses. These cliffs, which rise 120 meters above the Atlantic Ocean and at times go up to 214 meters, will provide you an opportunity to see some of the best panoramic views in the world.

Cliffs of Moher, also known as Cliffs of Cover, are located just south from the Doolin village, in the parish of Liscannor in Ireland. Mounting gradually from Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher go up to 120 meters above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag’s Head and go further up to 214 meters at its highest point just north of O’Brien’s Tower. The cliffs of Moher is known for providing exclusive panoramic beauties as you can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, the Twelve Pins and the Maum Tuk Mountain to the north and Loop Head to the south on a clear sunny day. To add with its attraction, the cliffs, being ‘almost vertical’ on the sea, are a paradise for the sea birds and hence a tourist’s delight. One can see a number of sea birds which include the Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Chough and Common Gull. In fact, the area has been designated as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) in 1989 and also a Refuge for Fauna since 1988.
