Serving two purposes at the same time – providing the storage facility for the Upper Basin states of Colorado River Compact, Lake Powell has also been mesmerizing thousands of people with its awesome beauty and wonder. The dramatic red rocks, sapphire water, secluded coves and beaches – you are truly in heaven.
Located on the Colorado River and spread between Utah and Arizona in Untied States, Lake Powell is 186 miles long with 1,960 miles of shoreline. Due to its surrounding dramatic red rocks, the area looks like an area from the Mars and can easily make you stunned. The whole of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, where the Lake Powell is situated, has become one of the major attractions in USA, visited by thousands of tourists every year.

Houseboats: It is an exceptional experience for anyone to float on Lake Powell on a houseboat. You can hire houseboats for one to seven hours at Wahweap and Bull Frog marinas. You can also make a trip to Dangling Rope Marina. And don't forget to pay a visit to Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
Other Activities: Lake Powell also offers wonderful opportunities for swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, snorkeling, fishing and hiking.
Helicopter Trip: A scenic flight over the lake by helicopter is also a popular choice to the tourists. You can get a bird's eye view of the 96 canyons extended from the main channel.
