A wonderful island in the United States, Oahu is the third largest of all the Hawaiian Islands and the most populous one. Honolulu, the capital of the state, located on the southeast coast, has the marine port for Hawaii and attracts a good number of tourists from all parts of the world. With an area of 597 square miles, Oahu is also the 20th largest island in the United States. Besides the various tourist attractions, the island is also the home to various activities. The most famous stretch of beach, Waikiki is one of the most popular places in the island known for exhilarating gathering place for the visitors. Visit Waikiki Aquarium, Ancient Pohaku (Wizard Stones), Atlantis Submarines, Diamond Head Crater, Diamond Head Beach, Diamond Head Lighthouse, Duke Kahanamoku Memorial Statue (don't forget to take a picture next to it), Kapiolani Park, Shangri La, and Waikiki Historical Trail. You can also take surfing lessons on Waikiki Beach.


Honolulu is the capital and the most popular attraction of the island. Visit Aloha Tower, Bishop Museum, Chinatown, Chinatown Walking Tours (on Tuesdays), Contemporary Museum of Art, Hawaii Maritime Museum, Hawaii State Art Museum, Hawaii Theatre, Tours of Hawaii Theatre (on Tuesdays), Honolulu Academy of Arts, Iolani Palace, Kawaiahao Church, Lyon Arboretum, Mission Houses Museum, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Queen Emma's Summer Palace, Statue of King Kamehameha, and Tantalus Rainforest.
Leeward & Central Oahu:

Tourist attractions of Leeward and Central Oahu include Aloha Stadium, Dole Plantation, Hawaii Plantation Village, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, Kaena Point, Ko Olina Marina, Kukaniloko, Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin, USS Battleship Missouri and Pacific Aviation Museum.


The attractions in Windward include Byodo-In Temple, Halona Point, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Koolau Golf Course, Kualoa, Kualoa Ranch, Kualoa Sugar Mill, Lanikai & Kailua Beach, Mokapuu Point & Lighthouse, Mokolii Island, Mokulua Islands, Sea Life Park in Makapuu, Senator Fong's Plantation and Waimanalo Beach.

North Shore:

In North Shore, you should visit the places like Haleiwa Town, James Campbell Nature Wildlife Refuge, North Shore Marketplace, Polynesian Cultural Center, Shark's Cove, and Shave Ice etc. And don't forget to watch sunset at Ehukai and banzai Pipeline beaches. It could truly be an unforgettable one.
