'El Fin del Mundo' or the 'End of the World' is exactly what Tierra del Fuego is popularly described as. Located in such a wonderful archipelago, Tierra del Fuego National Park is certainly one of the most attractive national parks in the world that is known for wonderful waterfalls, dense forest, marvelous mountains, and glorious glaciers. These altogether create an amazing backdrop that can mesmerize anyone and everyone in this world.

Located 11 km away from the city of Ushuaia, in the southwest of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, Tierra del Fuego National Park is the home to a number of animal species including guanacos, foxes, beavers, rabbits, and muskrats etc. It also has about 90 species of birds including Austral Parakeets, Carancas, Condors, Torrent Ducks and Oystercatchers. It is also the only national park with a coastal area. As the Tierra del Fuego National Park is located in the border of Chile, it can be reached from the Chile side as well, provided that you have valid papers. Tierra del Fuego National Park has so much to offer to the tourists. Besides its sparkling natural beauty, it is full of waterfalls, glaciers, and a wide range of rich flora and fauna in its forest. Besides exploring the sub-Antarctic forest, you have a range of other activities to do here.

Black Lagoon: It is an amazing dark-colored lagoon, located only 400 meter away from the Route 3. The presence of peat has made it dark. The Lookout Point: This point is famous for the fantastic panoramic view that it provides to the tourists. Take Rout 3 to reach Lookout Point through Lapataia Bay.

Walks: There are various walks in the Tierra del Fuego National Park that you can go for. It includes Turbal Walk, Walk to the “Castorera”, De la Isla Walk, and Laguna Negra Walk etc.

Camping: Camping is also a popular choice in Tierra del Fuego National Park. Go for camping only in the authorized places. The access tickets to the camping area are valid for 48 hours.
